Steam Beta Client Updates
A few Steam updates were rolled out over the past couple of days for the currently ongoing <a href="http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=790149">Steam client beta</a>.<br />

<li> Fixed offline mode (regression in last beta update)<br />
<li> Repaired layout of controls in Event announcement popup window<br />
<li> Updated processor detection for "System Information" window and hardware survey<br />

<li> Fix crash when viewing system info dialog<br />
<li> Additional network API warnings for Steamworks partners<br />
<li> Detect Windows 7 correctly in the hardware survey/system info dialog<br />

<li> Really detect Windows 7 and Windows 2008 in the hardware survey/system info dialog<br />
<li> Fixed a crash on startup affecting some users<br />
<li> Fixed some non-english strings<br />
<li> Fixed a bug which could cause games to attempt to update while user is in game<br />
