Update - GameStop Stopped Selling Dawn of War II Because of Steam
Last we heard, a rumor was floating <a href="/viewnews.php/10543/">around</a> saying that Gamestop was holding back sales on Dawn of War II simply because the game would use Steam.<br />

CS-Nation has heard from an employee at Gamestop that proclaims this accusation simply isn't true. The stoppage of Dawn of War II sales has more to do with the pre-orders exceeding the number of units that would be available at launch, and nothing more.<blockquote>Apparently GameStop employees, as in me, my manager, and so on, were never informed of any bad blood with Dawn Of War.<br />

We were just told that we'd exceeded our reserve limits and could no longer take reserves on them because we wouldn't be able to fulfill them.</blockquote>You can either believe this or believe that the sales were halted because of the game's use of Steam. However, this explanation seems a lot more plausible than Gamestop screwing over their customers for a stupid reason.<br />
