  • Project Cars 2 Finally Gets Fun this Winter

The "Fun Pack" for Project Cars 2 was announced today. If you weren't having fun yet in this racing title, then maybe this Fun Pack will be right up your alley? The weird thing is that this Fun Pack is slated for release in "Winter 2017" and well, 2017 is almost over. I'm guessing they either mean this content will be out before the end of the year or "Winter 2017" includes the Winter season that began in 2017 and ends in 2018.

The Fun Pack includes two new tracks and eight new cars. And God help you if you don't have fun with them.
    • The two new tracks are: Barcelona Rallycross and Brands Hatch Rallycross Historic
    • The eight new cars include two current WRX runners: Mattias Ekström’s Audi S1 EKS RX quattro, and Petter Solberg’s Citroën DS3 RX Supercar
    • Three rides from Professional Fun-Haver and drifting world champion Vaughn Gittin Jr.: The Ford Bronco “Brocky”, Ford Mustang RTR Spec – 5D, and the Mustang '66 RTR
    • Three Group B legends: The Ford RS200 Evolution, Renault R5 Maxi Turbo, and Audi Sport quattro S1

The release of the Fun Pack also marks the start of Season 4 for Project Cars eSports. You know, if you're into that sort of thing.

Are you having fun yet?! No? Then how's about you try out this new demo for Project Cars 2? You can find the demo on PlayStation Network for the PS4 and Xbox Live for the Xbox One. You'll have fun with that, but maybe not as much fun as you could be having with the upcoming Fun Pack. FUN!
If you’ve been waiting to jump into the driver’s seat in Project CARS 2, an official demo has been created to give players a taste of the variety of racing scenarios offered in the full game, with the ability to drive the Ferrari 488 GT3, Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4, and Formula Renault 3.5 at the laser-scanned Red Bull Ring. The three car types were selected to offer both a glimpse of the diverse motorsport disciplines, as well as the sublime physics and handling of the in-game vehicles. The scenarios in the demo are geared to provide players with escalating challenges in varying conditions, and the two tracks highlight the unparalleled weather simulation that racers will encounter in Project CARS 2. The demo features graphical enhancements for owners of the Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro consoles, as well as the extensive virtual reality support in the PC version of Project CARS 2. These improvements will also be incorporated into an upcoming update for the full game.
