Namco Bandai confirmed that the console version of Dark Souls 2 will be released on March 11, 2014 in North America. In Europe, the game will be released on March 14. The PC version will come "shortly thereafter."
The reason for the slight delay on the PC version is said to be due to Namco Bandai being committed to creating a quality PC version. The game will come in a "Black Armor Edition" for those that pre-order the game. It includes a metal case with the game and soundtrack. A deluxe edition will also be released and come with a 12-inch tall figurine, art book, cloth map, and the rest contained in the Black Armor Edition.
To top it all off, Namco Bandai released a new trailer for the game during the Tokyo Game Show 2013.
