That last remark is in response to Windows 8 supposedly being a closed platform. Again, I generally respect Gabe's thoughts but his constant hatred of Windows 8 just seems absurd. It rather seems like he's only thinking about the Windows 8 app store or the Metro interface, both of which don't even have to be used and when you eliminate those you're left with a more optimized and better version of Windows 7.
