The annual Summer Games Done Quick 2013 is here! The event is again put on by Speed Runs Live and the Speed Demos Archive. These guys, as you would expect, go through a number of their favorite games as fast as possible. We're talking about some of the guys that actually hold the world record for lowest completion time in these games.
All donations will be going towards Doctors Without Borders.
It just started around 2PM (EST) and is scheduled to run until the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday. They are just about 20 minutes into the run of their first game, Okami HD and they have already raised over $2,600 towards their goal of $50,000.
You can chat, watch, and donate from the SGDQ2013 website. They also have donation incentive goals that you can vote on with your donations. The first one is for Metal Gear Solid, which has already been met. That particular goal is to have Snake fight Sniper Wolf in hand to hand combat on Extreme difficulty. There are also donation votes going on to see if Snake will save Meryl or Otacon. And remember, this is just the start of the five day long event.
