Since its release early this month, State of Decay on the Xbox Live Arcade has already sold over half of a million copies. As such, it is now the fastest selling original title ever released on the Xbox Live Arcade.
This news come shortly after the game received its first major patch. However, many players reported that the patch did not actually fix everything that was stated in the changelog. This has prompted the studio to try ironing out these issues that are shown as fixed on internal builds but did not make it to the live, public version.
The game is still in development for the PC and is slated to come to Steam. The main hold up right now? They need to integrate with the Steam platform and add native support for keyboard and mouse control.
As someone who owns State of Decay on the 360, I can attest to it being incredibly damn fun. It will be nice to play it on the PC without the framerate hiccups that hold it back on the 360.
