Right now, you can pre-purchase the game to save 15% off of the normal price. I think you also get a bigger discount if you own Red Orchestra 2 already, which looks like it's 40% off of the normal price. Not to mention, you'll have access to the last few days of the beta leading up to the final release. Basically, you're paying a lower fee to play the game earlier. However, there are options and other incentives here.

It's a shame their press release announcement didn't include my "it's better than RO2 was at launch" for their wall of praise from the press.
