There is a special "beach party" event coming to Tales of Laputa.

To celebrate the summer months, publisher NGames has brought a dose of sunshine related fun to Tales of Laputa. A new daily Beach Party event is available now, running from 8:00-8:30am and 20:00-20:30pm every day.
Weary adventurers can visit the Beach Party to relax their tired legs, enjoying leisurely activities such as a sunbathing, having a massage, and picking flowers. If they're feeling especially lazy after toppling ToL's many dungeons and quests, players can even sit back and have somebody else apply the suntan oil for them.
The Beach Party isn't just a place to play and relax though. Tales of Laputa adventurers earn Skill Points for every interaction they have with others at the beach. With 20 interaction chances per party, there are plenty of daily opportunities to enjoy the sunshine while learning new skills at the same time.
What's more, the beach is home to magical Shining Shells – players who group together and collect 99 shells can trigger a buff, giving all participants an extra 20% on top of the Skill Points earned at the Beach Party.
