Either this was a very elaborate April Fool's joke by Square Enix, or it was a spur of the moment deal and the real Deus Ex: Human Defiance reveal is still to come.
Square Enix "revealed" that Deus Ex: Human Defiance is an 8-bit April Fool's joke. Now sure, there might be an actual Human Defiance game somewhere along the lines. There is, after all, a push to get 250K likes on Facebook that will presumably lead to ... something else maybe being shown.
But as it is, this was a waste of our time and a huge reason why April Fool's day is a nightmare for anyone trying to post any actual news today.
