Way back in the Summer of 2012, EA and Zynga began a copyright battle. EA said that Zynga copied a significant portion of The Sims Social with their The Ville game. Zynga then counter-sued EA, calling them "desperate."
Both sides have revealed that the lawsuit has been resolved. Naturally, the details of the settlement have not been made public. The court still has to approve the deal before anything is made official. Even then, the details may never be made public.
