As fans amassed over 300 billion golden coins in New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the 3DS, Nintendo decided to show their appreciation to their fans. They are offering a free three-pack of classic Mario maps for use in the game's Coin Rush mode.
The maps are pulled from the original Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3 from the NES days. The pack will be completely free to players from now until February 1, 2013. Afterwards, you can then pick up the pack for just $2.50 (USD).
