Super Slim PlayStation 3 Coming Later This Year

Another new re-design is headed for the PlayStation 3. The new model is slated to be 25% smaller and 25% lighter than the current model PlayStation 3. It comes in both a 250GB and 500GB model, as well as two different colors (black and white).

The 250GB model will go for $269 and will be available as a bundle deal only on September 25 in North America. The 500GB model arrives at $299 on October 30 in North America. Japan receives both sizes on October 4. The 250GB model will go for ¥24,980 with the 500GB model slated for ¥29,980.

Europe and PAL territories get a 12GB flash memory model for 229 Euros on October 12. The 500GB model will go for 299 Euros and will be released on September 28 in that region.
