Once again, Twitch.tv and the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) are teaming up to deliver live streams of various PAX Prime panels for the public.

As the official video streaming partner of PAX Prime, Twitch will offer free live video coverage of select sessions and panels from August 31-September 2, 2012 with a HD stream available via subscription. In addition, several marquee publishers – including Sony Online Entertainment, Plastic Piranha, Hi-Rez Studios, and Trion Worlds - will be live streaming content from upcoming games at the Twitch booth (booth #3446, Level 4) and the winners of the fifty thousand dollar Twitch & Alienware Scholarship will be announced.

The first-of-its-kind competition, which launched on June 5, 2012, touted that fifty thousand dollars in scholarships would be divided among five students based on criteria spanning both academic and gaming achievements.
