Valve has opened up the beta for the new Steam Community to everyone! That's right, you no longer need an invitation to get your hands on the new design and help to make the design a better place for everyone.
In fact, Valve has already implemented a number of suggestions and fixes offered up by the community prior to making it available to everyone. The reappearance of the "News" tab up top being a big one.
