Another disturbance in the work force today as it's been confirmed that 7% of the employees at Capcom Vancouver have been let go by the company. Capcom Vancouver, otherwise known as Blue Castle Games, was the studio that worked on all versions of Dead Rising 2.
The layoffs were confirmed earlier today via the company's official Twitter.
Yes, in spite of these layoffs, the studio is still apparently looking for new employees. It's speculated that the studio is working on Dead Rising 3 though this has not been confirmed nor has the exact reason for the layoffs.
