Those gamers who have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch that also happen to enjoy a hand or two of poker should be happy to hear this news. EA and the World Series of Poker have teamed up to bring the world an "authentic" poker game for iOS devices.
They even have a trailer out for it.
As mentioned, it is a free app (iTunes). I'm sure there are plenty of in-game opportunities to spend your real-world currency, however.
With features and functions pulled straight from live action, World Series of Poker deals fans the thrill of playing in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournament, all from their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. The app is designed to appeal to novices and pro players alike with the challenge of going after virtual bracelets and rings, VIP rooms and Pro status levels that can only be earned with skill.
