In its first month of sales, Mass Effect 3 sold more copies than Mass Effect 2 did in its first month. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that Mass Effect 3 topped the sales charts for March 2012.
All told, over half of a billion dollars was spent on game software last month alone. Sadly, this figure is actually 25% less than for March 2011. These figures come from the NPD.
