I'm not sure if this is a sign that one of the better MMO's released in recent memory is already dying or if it's just a kind gesture. BioWare, LucasArts, and EA have made it known that anybody with active subscriptions to Star Wars: The Old Republic can now invite up to 25 of their friends for a seven day free-trial of the game.
As noted, the trials do seem to be limited to the beginning worlds for each race type. It was also reported that those on the free trials cannot make use of the game's private chat/whisper command nor chat in local. That might make finding a group a tad bit difficult unless you are invited to a guild.
