Microsoft announced today that they are bringing on Phil Harrison to take over as the corporate VP of the company's Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB) with an emphasis on the European side of business matters.
Harrison assumes this position after Peter Molyneux announced his departure last week from both Lionhead and the IEB.
Prior to this, Harrison was one of the lead figureheads at Sony and was with that company from 1992 until February of 2008 when he resigned from his position. He was a VP for both Sony Computer Entertainment America and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe at various times.
