Another Multi-platform Title, Prototype 2, Delayed on PC - Is Anyone Surprised

Announced via the official Prototype 2 Facebook page was word that the PC version of the game has been delayed for three months. The new release date is July 24th and only affects the PC release as the console release date is still slated for April 24.

Hey all, we just wanted to let you know that the PC version of PROTOTYPE 2 is unfortunately going to be delayed until July 24th. Radical Entertainment has always been extremely dedicated to all our fans, and we just wanted to make sure you heard the news from us FIRST. We'll share more details with you soon.

No reason for the delay was given. Prototype 2 is being developed by Radical Entertainment and will be published by Activision.

Now, I don't want to just toss wild speculation out there like this but I'm sure they have a very good reason for this delay, other than the fact they want to make more money off of the console releases first before it hits the PC market. Right?

If PC gamers aren't already used to getting the shaft, you should probably start lubing up now.

Well, my immediate defense prepared would be that the consoles have been out for years so hardware, software optimastion etc. has already been pretty much hammered in... then I remembered these guys are in with activision and thought: eeh... On second thoughts: Shitheads.

2012 is the year of the delays, with Valve taking the lead.

Perhaps you can explain to me how Valve is taking "the lead" on this when Prototype 2 isn't a Valve title, Half-Life 3/Episode 3 was never officially announced, and DOTA 2 was never given a release date.
