This marks the first time that Valve's developed titles have been sold on another digital distribution platform outside of Steam. GameStop's Impulse digital distribution platform has the unique honor of being the first third-party service to offer a handful of Valve titles up for sale.
The games include Portal 2, Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, Half-Life Complete, and The Orange Box. It should be noted that while the games are avaialable for sale through Impulse, the games still require you the use of the Steam client to play. Impulse merely acts as a means to receive a product key to add to Steam.
