And i will happily pay for those titles if they come to the pc and if they decide to do them in that order. In my opinion bf2143 should be released in the frostbite engine 2.0 or 2.5 or 3, whatever they want to call it, but bf4 should only be done/released once the new set of consoles is out ( ps4 and xbox720 (names might not be these but you get it xD) ) so they are forced to make a new engine and make the game feel different (still a bf feeling!) and worthy of it's name

I don't think they will do a 2143. It was the best game of the series IMO, but futuristic warfare doesn't appeal to a wide enough audience. After the success of BF3, I doubt EA will suddenly release a more niche title. I think we will see it as an expansion for BF3 though.

I dunno about that Anarchy, i actually think the era of "Modern Warfare" games is coming to a bit of a halt and people are looking for something a bit different. You can see with the poor user scores for MW3 that people are starting to feel its all a little bit too similar. I think venturing into the future a bit might expand to a greater audience that perhaps left because MW got boring.

Isn´t it a matter of money? COD is a money cow as the developers know their fanbase is huge and they will buy every single release.BF´s fanbase is smaller and maybe more critical. This forum has discussed this fact so many times and comparing BF3 to COD is impossible as it is two intirely different games.It takes less effort and censequently less money to produce a COD as they do not tamper with the laws of physics i.e. no destructible environments, no vehicles, smaller maps aso.So basically their presets for a quick release is much greater that BF. Just new maps, other weapons (if any) and perhaps a new game mode.They basically can release a new game every year and their fans swallows them up.DICE simply cannot follow their pace and still make money, BF is to complex. Which is propably also why they have not released any MOD tolls either.I think they will/should run the development parallel on BF and BC. BF to be the huge release and the BC to satisfy the game hungry masses.I think a schedule will look like this:BF3 - BC3 - BF2143 - BC4 - BF4You simply cannot deny that the lifespan of a videogame is not much longer than 12 months unless they release new maps. The public simply grows tired of the same maps and start looking elsewhere.I think I have to stop now before I start ranting....................... too late

Know that feel. I guess it also depends on age. People I know are around 14-18 so they all think its the shit, but I also get a few Compliments from time to time on my Battlefield 3 Cap at school though.

I'm in a mixed bag.

You know, maybe your right. The Modern Warfare setting might be dying out not that it's being so overdone. Perhaps BF4 will be WWII !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Returning to it's beginning. Planes, boats, subs, infantry, tanks, jeep you name it, i'd buy it!

I'm in a mixed bag.

Most people I know that are playing MW2 are 16 and under. Most people older than that prefer BF3 and Skyrim. It's actually a pretty fine line. At school, almost every underclassmen seems to love CoD and every upperclassmen thinks it sucks. I think it has to do with puberty.

Im still for extending the game via DLC. Keep the core BF3 and then make some gigantic DLC for $30. Make it all work together.
