My game has been shipped so I'll probobly get it on thuesday the 25th. BUT, I live in Sweden. Will I be able to play it the 25th or do I have to wait until the 27th?

Thursday, the 27th is your date and 12:01am the time.

Seems there are quite a few smarter people around who have managed to get the Activation changed to Mon 24th 4pm.

So much for the Official release date being the 25th.

No, the smarts ones are people who don't like the fact they have to wait 3 days extra to get a game which could have easily been released world wide at the same time.

I just finished waking up and can understand what you were saying now. I was all sorts of confused. I read Activision, probably because of the capitol letter.


Remember when you could afford so many more titles without feeling you were getting ripped off? I've been on the other side of this argument usually but I just realized something. Too many "ok" games are being released for the same high ass price as much better games. Games I would probably play if they were cheaper but can't bring myself to get ripped off so badly on a game that really isn't that
great!

It's the equivalent of ford releasing a ford contour for 80k, and a moped for 80k and having them sit next to a 80k Mercedes on the lot. Hmmm I wonder wich one I should buy guys, I might need a review or two to help me figure this one out man. In the end all these "80k crap cars" get made but no one plays them because they release at the same price as much better titles. The industry is being molded toward this standard where it doesn't matter how they sell the game as long as they make money off it. If they must trick you, so be it.

I wonder if a VPN will work, so I can play SP.

A vpn will work. There are plenty of servers in Hong Kong and South Korea to connect thru, and doing so will allow you to start playing at 12:01AM UTC+9 regardless of where you are in the world.

EDIT: EA said specifically that they are NOT banning for players using this method. :icon_salute_blue:

Ok this is a little off the topic of Origins PC BF3. But I'm trying to find an answer with no avail.

I have preordered BF3 for XBOX360.

I'm in Central Time Zone USA and GAMESTOP is distributing the game for us preorders @ 12AM. Now I'm am thinking "Does Eastern Time Zone get the game at 12am there time (11am my time) or do they have to wait until 1AM? If it wasn't so late I'd call up my gamestop location and ask, but I'd like an answer now! Is it MIDNIGHT at every gamestop location in the USA? Or Is there a universal time at which everyone in the USA gets there preorder BF3 Xbox360 throughout the USA at GAMESTOP? What is the deal? PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU KNOW

Its Midnight PST for the US, according to this posting by EA, so going strictly by that, for you it is actually 3am. I would check with your local Gamestop though as this posting is when you can PLAY the game, not pick it up.

Thats a pretty detailed list.
How many people out of less than 7.000 will have axces to broadband on Saint Pierre and Miquelon. But they get it two days ahead of me.
Oh well. Will have to waste my time on BC2 for a couple of days more.

Sorry welsalex, for some reason I thought you were east coast. The time is actually 2am CST. You forgot about Mountain Time.

As for my answer, well, 100%. This post is direct from EA themselves and has been confirmed many times. If I were you I would call Gamestop and ask when you can pick it up. A lot of people are getting their games early and its being time blocked by EA.
