Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Strike Packages Behind the Scenes Video
Most balanced game since COD4, really, after 8 kills you magically have every single perk. Maps are again the small maps like MW2, again 12 players (18 in GroundWar) and no progression in dedicated servers. Plus with 2 weeks to release have the released the info regarding Elite for PC that they said they would? DLC better be free for PC. -
Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Strike Packages Behind the Scenes Video
This could of been great, ranked dedicated servers with nice COD4 sized maps and 32 players with admining; all the neat toys from MW2; Elite to get the DLC cheaper and add more depth to the game. Instead we get this.Comment

What also gets me in this video is how they said they looked back at MW2 to realize the killstreak system wasnt fair. Im sorry, but thats been a gripe since CoD4. Then we had CoD4, W@W, MW2, and Black Ops.
So basically what is being said is they are not paying attention to previous titles other than MW2 and not listening to the complaints since CoD4.Twitter: @CptainCrunch

Yeah, thats not balanced at all. They just said it was unfair about the killstreak system, so they made it so if you are a good player, you become a super soldier that can kill even more?Originally posted by RangerXMLMost balanced game since COD4, really, after 8 kills you magically have every single perk. Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Strike Packages Behind the Scenes Video
This is IW (semi/sudo) we are talking about, remember they don't consider Treyarch games part of the series. Remember also for BlackOps they wanted to make it more balanced by making the kill streaks human controlled, all good and fine, if you could shot the darn gunner in the Chopper Gunner. The Nuke in MW2 really wouldn't have been all that bad, if kill streak kills wouldn't have counted. Its continually overlooking the small things that keeps adding seriously broken elements to the game and then rather then fixing them, they just nerf weapons like the Commando that really didn't need it when the Galil is still as good as it was.Comment

Fucking hell, Treyarch actually thought out black ops more from the sounds of it, too bad that most people I know think that Treyarch are the scum of the earth and should leave call of duty alone forever...Comment

To be honest I think that Treyarch make a better game.Originally posted by 5t3v0Fucking hell, Treyarch actually thought out black ops more from the sounds of it, too bad that most people I know think that Treyarch are the scum of the earth and should leave call of duty alone forever...
CoD4 was the pinnacle for IW after that it went downhill.Comment

Yeah, I felt that as well. W@W was way more polished and the maps much better done and playing the demo of BLOPS a couple months back it looked to still be the case.Twitter: @CptainCrunch

I definitely preferred WaW and Black Ops over MW2. I also think WaW was a better game than CoD4, but for some reason, I just didn't like playing it as much. Probably due to the lack of support they gave it at first and the weak community.
Treyarch games have been the most balanced games by far in my opinion.
And Ranger, this is the first time I've seen you be negative toward CoD

I agree with the treyarch comments, i mean even though i did not like W@W that much because of its WW2 setting i rather enjoyed the MP, had a server browser, usable tanks it was nice. And same goes to BLOPS it had a server browser, my brother and i were playing together for the first time in a CoD game (we had two machines this time, also we tried playing together in MW2 its a pain in the arse) playing BLOPS on a 24/7 nuketown server was fun, i now some may disagree with nuketown but my bro and i found it amusing and fun. Anyways whatever treyarch is doing next, i only wish for one thing a new game engine that's all, i am pleased with their products. this news about unranked server browser really bums me out.Comment

MP, I really liked COD4, hated WaW, enjoyed, but equally suffered in MW2, liked BOps (more like COD4 again). Single player, the only one I did not like was WaW, it was just boring, felt like COD3 again (surprise). I want the COD4 maps back, Crossfire and Killhouse, BOps tried to copy Crossfire, but it was horrible.Comment
