The Xbox Marketplace now has Battlefield 3 Avatar accessories for your little virtual guy or gal. There are a number of different t-shirts, hats, and even a wall with a plant on it. My favorite though is the dinosaur, which seems to be a theme really picking up traction.

So what do you think of the avatar options? Now lets talk dinosaurs; this growing trend has people asking for dino DLC. Would you like to see an expansion pack containing dinosaurs? Better yet, would you want to be a dinosaur taking spawnpoints and eating the enemy? Could DICE pull something like that off or would it have to be some free crazy game mode?

The dinosaur has to do with the game because it is in the singleplayer, dont you guys remember that trailer in the desert with tanks? it started with you looking at a toy dinosaur

Yeah, thats where the idea came from, but then people started tweeting Christina Coffin like crazy about it then there was some fan art and now someone made a video.

It will probably go nowhere. Its a pretty crazy idea.

I'm pretty sure the dinosaur idea is a joke at the expense of Modern Warfare. After MW2 received negative PC community feedback, they (foolishly) asked 4chan what could be changed/included to make it a better game. 4chan being 4chan, they said it was bad due to the lack of dinosaurs. DICE referencing it is a sarcastic bite at IW as well as a playful gesture to the PC gaming community.

I dont think I would pay for dinosaurs unless it was really really awesome. So as free DLC on a map or two.

The joke is actually way older than the trailer. They put it in the trailer to appease people from somethingawful.com who insisted they put dinosaurs in to MW2.
