CoD fans who found Modern Warfare 2's single-player story a little on the short side, rejoice: Activision-owned studio Sledgehammer believes that Modern Warfare 3's campaign is something of a meatier beast.

Speaking to CVG, Sledgehammer CEO Glen Schofield said that although MW3's campaign length "really depends on the player", it's shaping up to be noticeably longer than its predecessor.

"My feeling - and the feeling of most of us - is that it's longer than Modern Warfare 2," he said.

Good. Because thats probably going to be the jist of what I am playing it for. Might give multiplayer a shot, but Battlefield is my priority.

^ same, would love for the campaign to be longer than 4~6 hours, same goes to BF although in BF main focus is MP but also i would love a nice long campaign...Homefront left me pissed in that department.

I think I'm one of the rare people that wants a FPS for its single player campaign nowadays. The multiplayer is just to get me by until the next singleplayer campaign comes out. Looking forward to this and BF3. ^_^ And is it just me or are the comments ridiculously hard to read on this site? White background, incredibly light text, and the two comments above me I had to drag a selection highlight just to read them. =/

Thortok, its just you man. Nothing is light on those comments or this one. You might have some default setting changed in your profile on how you view the forums or something. You can check your settings by clicking on your name and the little pencil icon by it when you go to your profile.

Check your settings. If you want, I can try to do it. I never dove into them before but what could I mess up?

I get light text on light background when viewing the comments through the main page

I should specify it's when viewing comments through the main page that I can't read. If I click 'view original post' I get translated to the forums and those work just fine.

Yeah, that makes more sense. I am taking some screenshots now and will see if we can get that fixed.
