Relativity Media is teaming with Electronic Arts and Eventful to offer hardcore gamers the chance to play the upcoming video game Battlefield 3 and screen the forthcoming film Act of Valor before either is released.
Utilizing Eventful's "Demand it!" service, gamers will have until October 12 to vote to have their city win the chance to be the first to play Battlefield 3 by visiting Eventful's Act of Valor page and "Demanding" it. They can also spread the word to their friends via Twitter and Facebook.
Whichever city that has the most Demands will host an exclusive sneak preview of Act of Valor -- an action film starring real-life, active duty Navy SEALS (how frikkin' cool is that?!) -- and have the chance for the most devoted gamers to play Battlefield 3 on the big screen. The event will take place October 19 in the winning city.
