Just an update, I started using Quick Match and I'm getting into games a lot faster, every now and then it'll put me in a server with a queue for 40+, but for the most part it's very quick (under 1 min)

Can anyone that has played the alpha make a thread saying the differences he sees? or just the differences from bfbf2 and opinions in general like performance etc

Preordered Medal of Honor LE retail version direct from EA, played it, registered it - even added it to Origin. Preordered BF3 from Origin as digital download version middle of this month. No Beta Key in my inbox.

After hours of waiting, I uninstalled/reinstalled, then I have gotten into 3 server so far... its pretty fun, I feel the graphics are not *all there* in this beta, or just a poor map to show them on. Plus my 6870 is running on ultra (1024x768 but still). You can't change the controls, which is annoying as heck, but it is a beta so we can't really harp on them can we?

Yeah we can. We couldnt change controls in the alpha either and because they arent in the beta, I dont think they will be in release.

Could be wrong, but hardcoding keys seems like a huge step backwards.

Got myself an early access beta code for pre-ordering. Funny thing is, never pre-ordered or bought MoH. :P

cant bind keyboard or mouse, cant beta test if i cant play. i refuse to use default controls. back to men of war assault squad for the time being.
