DOTA 2's The International, Final Matches Scheduled for Sunday

With GamesCom 2011 coming to a close, so is the first ever tournament for Valve's DOTA 2, The International. The final stage is upon us and with just three teams remaining vying for the $1 million (USD) first place prize, it's still anybody's game. Well, assuming "anybody" only includes those three remaining teams.

The final matches will kick off at 9AM GMT (4AM EST/1AM PST) at the DOTA 2 website.

The International featured the 16 best Dota teams in the world competing in the Dota 2 Championships through a group stage, double elimination playoff format over the course of Cologne's five-day trade show.

In addition to the cash prizes awarded by Valve, Nvidia is providing all the hardware for the event plus hardware prizes for the winning team.

Valve says that DOTA 2 will be available for the PC and Mac later this year.
