So if you participated in the alpha trial and live in the US/Canada and have not pre-ordered Battlefield 3 yet, you can order these special bundles from Origin until August 7th, which would include one of those three games mentioned above.

One thing to note is that if you already pre-ordered, but would like to get this bundle, you would have to cancel your pre-order and then re-order.

Also note that if you purchased with a code for a discount, like the 25% off I mentioned in the forums, you will lose that offer by cancelling, so you have to decide if one of those games are worth it to you.

In any event, it was very nice of EA/DICE to include a little extra bonus for participating in the alpha process. That is not something you see everyday when testing software.

You don't have to cancel your preorder. Contact EA live support and they can add whichever game you want instantly. Only level 2 can do it, but it will be added instantly and should appear in Origin before you are even done talking.

I'm stilling deciding which game to get. I know MoH wasn't very good, but it is the game that fits my tastes the best.

I would prefer the -%25 which I didn't receive , I already finished the 3 mentionned games.

I just contacted live support (after a 45 minute wait) and the guy made me cancel my order and then reorder. I guess it depends on who you get.

For me, that just links to the store frontpage. And I didn't get the 25% discount either.

Some areas did not receive the discount.

Vreki, if you only see the front page and not the bundles, you might talk to a rep and see what can be done instead. They may be filtering the page based on IP adress.

No, its a bundle deal. Here is a picture of the website:



So if you have not pre-ordered yet, you log into Origin and select the bundle you want and your name is associated with the alpha and you would get it.

If you already pre-ordered the other option is to have that order cancelled and then pre-order again with the bundle you want.

You can also try what Anarchy mentioned with talking to a rep and get the bundle added, but that may or may not work out.

Well this deal is suppose to be available to ALL alpha testers world wide, so even though they are filtering it, you should still be able to get it.

The deal is only for US/Canada according to the website.

Offer expires August 7, 2011. Bonus PC Digital Download title selected by Electronic Arts. Discount is valid only on new purchases from Origin at www.origin.com. Valid only in the U.S. and Canada.

But, there is some reported success of people from outside North America contacting EA support and getting the game added to their preorder.

And you should receive an e-mail if you were in the alpha, but it isn't required. It just links to the exact page. My e-mail just came this morning but I got my free MoH yesterday.
