Re: No Battlefield Release Each Year, Says DICE
In some cases though it came free and then some. Being part of the Gun Club and getting it through Origin was only $45. Ummm Hell yes I'll take a new game it's DLC early for $45? lol
I like this idea of them not shoving a new game out every year. Like someone said above (to lazy to scroll up but not to lazy to type all of this in parenthesis) everyone migrates to the new game. I think this is a good way to keep the community intact. Not to mention I would much rather have a nice polished product with some new stuff/versions every 6 months - 1 year than a new unpolished game every year like another franchise. I personally got tired of it. I loved Cod4 but think about it. It was a while after Cod3. Then I got WaW. Wasn't that great. MW2 was a bit better but I that was the final straw for me. I ended up not buying BO and I won't be getting the new one. I may however rent it just for SP purposes to go along with the story line.
Good move by DICE imo.
