Really i have to be honest and say " I cant wait for bf3", its just im worried about the vehicle aspects of the game now. Worried the vehicle maps will be on rails sort of thing.Infantry play seem's complete with the return of prone IMO.I hope when i get my hard copy(limited) it will have the classic maps pack too

It sounds like DICE is doing all the right things. Im sure some will pounce all over the CoD 4 statement, but CoD4 was one of the best infantry games of all time, of all time!

what if:they made the game with infantry maps,tank maps and jet(Air) maps but never all the three modes at once of Air,foot and Armour in one map at the same time?.would that sit well with you guys?

no, i need all-warfare fighting. I need Infantry, boats, tanks, jets and helis in one map.

To answer the question, no.

The thing is though is that its not possible to have one without the other. There can be maps without air, maps without land vehicles, but there will always be infantry. Even Kubra Dam, which was a huge vehicle map, had infantry fighting everywhere. Zetar Wetlands also. The only way to get rid if infantry in Battlefield would be to spawn as/in a vehicle.

Im sure there will be infantry only modes and smaller maps as well because, and I know this may be hard to believe, many like to be ground pounders and anything else is terrible.

While you can't get rid of infantry, you can make it irrelevant. Look at NFZ in DC_F.
