PlayStation 3 gamers can finally breathe a sigh of relief today as the PlayStation Store has finally returned! It's been a long, hard journey that started to show signs of reprieve when select online functionality returned a week or two ago.
The Store's return does not mean that the freebies are available for all PS3 owners yet. Those are still to come in an announcement being made shortly by Sony.
The list of recently released titles and new content releases can all be found on the PlayStation Blog. The list is quite lengthy, so be sure to read carefully.

The PlayStation Store is back online and thank you everyone for your patience. You will notice a huge lineup of new downloadable games, demos, add-on content, themes, avatars and videos. Also, PlayStation Plus has been updated with new full game trials, free games and DLC, free avatars and even more discounts.
You may have noticed that the content promised as part of the Welcome Back offer is not yet live. It is currently in the final stages of testing and will be available to download soon; we’ll be sure to let you know when.
