This is what happens when the Marketing Department asks the Development team for something special to boost sales to make Management happy. What once was an unlock magically becomes a "special limited pre-order bonus" and then when people yell enough it becomes a DLC a month after launch for the amazing low price of $4.99 USD.

This micro-transaction stuff already happens all the time in MMO's. When BFBC2 had the Specat Kit DLC come out i feared the start of similar nonsense in the BF universe.

Looks like my fears may be coming to fruition. And no i haven't pre-ordered yet.

And Crunch the flechette ammo is probably good for shooting people hiding behind doors. Or those annoying tin walls in Karkand.
"We're all very different people. We're not Watusi. We're not Spartans. We're Americans, with a capital 'A', huh? You know what that means? Do ya? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're the underdog. We're mutts! Here's proof: his nose is cold! But there's no animal that's more faithful, that's more loyal, more loveable than the mutt." -John Winger (Bill Murray) Stripes

This is nothing new to the BF series. Seems these days everyone is bitching about everything.

Amen brother. b#tch, bitc#, bitc#... I love the BF series, but a large part of the "community" are real ****-tards -- the type who arrogantly tell other people how they ought to play the game.

Advice: If you don't want to get raged on day one by someone who's strapped on DAO-12 loaded Flechette, and has just blasted through you and three of your gay littte buddies with one shot, then just pre-order the friggin' game; if not, then stop crying and shut the **** up, will ya. You made your choice. If the pack cost £50 then that would be different.

Wow can I recommend anger therapy my friend? Doesn't matter to me as this is a UK exclusive and I don't plany on playing in UK servers as I live in the God blessed USA.

I'm already undergoing intensive anger-management treatment, but thanks for the advice (some people miss the tongue-in-cheek mock rage).

And you wouldn't have to worry anyway: I'm 99% sure EA are going to give you good old USA players a pre-order "perk" pack of your own. If they didn't that would! be unfair, and bitching would be more than warranted. Which brings me back to what i was saying: everyone will have a chance, and a choice, to get in on the action - if they so want. And what's wrong with choice?

Locating and killing snipers using muzzle flash is important through out the BF and COD series, giving a special muzzle flash reducing suppressor to exclusive players is beyond broken. Think it was hard to find a sniper in BF2, larger battlefields and no muzzle flash will be worse. At least no mag rounds for snipers this time.

well IRL the SKS has the same range as the AK47 (aprox) I believe... so If they get that right I think it would be more of a short range sniper rifle if anything.

make it a load out choice. Either flash suppressor or mortar, but not both imo.

I love your avatar, brings back so many bad memories from 64 player Karkand. I like your idea, good trade off, world of hurt but your shots give away your position or by the annoying sniper prick that keeps picking off your squad mates with no way of knowing where its coming from.
