Two New Community Challenges from DICE for Battlefield 3.

DICE has another community challenge going on where the 12 minute Battlefield 3 trailer will be unlocked after 1 million Facebook page "likes". The video is scheduled to be released on April 17, but this has the potential to be released earlier since it is almost half way completed. In addition to the trailer a producer's commentary will also be released.

Battlefield 3 launched its latest Community Challenge today, with the potential to unlock early access to the 12-minute trailer for the Fault Line video series. To unlock it, you must simply head to the Battlefield Facebook Page and “Like” it. Once we get to one million “likes,” not only will we be unlocking the new 12-minute Battlefield 3 gameplay trailer, we’ll also be unlocking a second video, including commentary on the entire 12-minute trailer from Battlefield 3 Executive Producer Patrick Bach, adding some extra tidbits that will otherwise be unheard.

Be sure to head to the Battlefield 3 Facebook page at Facebook.com/Battlefield to help unlock the 12 minute trailer and the producer commentary video asap!

DICE started a brand new community challenge asking fans to re-create the Battlefield tune. YouTube is full of Battlefield theme remakes. Use these an examples and create your own!

There is no deadline for this yet.

Remake the good old Battlefield tune with any instrument OR objects of choice. Be creative and use your best imagination. The most creative entries will receive a special prize together with the site who posted the winning entry :)

I know I would love to have my theme in the next Battlefield game.

They set such an unrealistic goal, but they will probably release it early on their facebook page anyways.

Finally at 600k, but things have slowed down a lot. A 750k goal would probably have been a little more attainable.
