Konami revealed earlier today that a number of positional changes are being made within the company. Probably the biggest and most notable change is the promotion of Hideo Kojima to the position of vice president.
The new position for the famous game designer and Metal Gear creator will take effect on April 1st. Wait, this better not be a cruel April Fool's joke here.
Other new positions include Shinji Enomoto (Pro Evolution Soccer) also taking on a VP role. Kazuhiko Nakanishi is the new corporate auditor. Mineaki Yoshiba, Yasuyuki Yamaji and Kazuyuki Kisohara are three newly named directors. And last but not least is Kazuhiko Uehara taking over as CEO for Hudson Soft (Bomberman).
