Codemasters has announced the upcoming installment of their popular racer with F1 2011 slated to arrive this September.
The latest in the game, in addition to coming out for the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 will also be available for the Nintendo 3DS and the Sony NGP. The PC version will be a Games for Windows Live title while the handheld versions will be "designed to take advantage of the new platforms' unique capabilities."
The new version will offer up a "wide-range of technical and gameplay advancements on and off track and vastly extended competitive and co-operative multiplayer components." This will be alongside the typical team updates for the latest racing season.
Also of note is a sweet contest being run by Codemasters that will find a few lucky winners visiting Birmingham to play the game. All you need to do is ask them a question for their regular video Q&A sessions. The more creative and on point the questions are, the better your odds are.
