No, just the HUD; I hadn't noticed but yeah, it's a fully functional cockpit like it was a flightsim; adds more realism.

BF2 did have cockpits, you could just turn them off though and just see the HUD. But cockpit = Jets pretty much confirmed.

You could look around while being the pilot if you hold down ctrl and move your mouse

Did anyone else notice it took 3-4 seconds for the player to climb and get on that .50 cal mounted in the technical? I hope that is just in single player mode. :|:

It would be nice to be able to boost yourself up on walls though. CoD did that well.

Yeah I'm liking the streaming motion too. I don't mind it taking 2 seconds to hop into a vehicle. at the end of the day, if you were under fire would you really run to a 50.cal if you couldn't teleport onto it? lol Adds more common sense to the game imo.

yeah i think having some sort of anim to climb big walls would be cool. for example you would use space to jump but if you jump against a wall that you could not jump over that easly there would be an animation were tou would grab yourself to the wall and pull yourself p and to the other side

Yeah, I prefer the anim. Also provides a sort of challenge. Maybe speeding it up in MP, like you just jump up onto it rather than slowly climb.

It looked very similar to Mirror's Edge animations. I do hope things don't take QUITE so long as it did for the guy to get up on the truck (I'd think a marine could just hop up on a truck like I can, rather than slowly lumber onto it) but I do enjoy having those little details. It adds a lot of fluidity and immersion to the game if you're character actually moves through the environment like a real person rather than just bunny hopping all over the place.
