This footage was taken at GDC during one of the conferences. It's been taken down many times, but for now GeneralPatton has been hosting the video:

There is a lot more going on in this clip with effects in the game. At the end of the video there is a presentation on lighting a city with the Frostbite 2.0 engine.

Yes, I know, but I couldnt put up a black screen. Every time I tried the video would be down. Then I would have seen post after post of how people cant see the video.

The dragging teammates thing isn't an effect... and it really would not be at all useful in game. Your friend gets shot down, so you walk out to the same spot and slowly pull him to safety? That's totally practical.

I saw a few things that make me hopeful. Namely, map design. It seemed very familiar, yet improved. Obviously the graphics, animations, sounds and effects look amazing.

Loved the cockpit, I saw a couple of interesting things, like a large crater that was perhaps created by an explosion, no crosshairs, bad sp AI. The building falling down and floor seemed way to scripted to me, but i hope they work the same way in mutliplayer. Awesome video! I hope the Single player doesn't have to many solo moments because then it's just to much like cod.

Is it really too much like CoD or is it too much like single player? Many FPS single players are scripted or forces you to go a certain direction or do something specific to progress.

We have no idea what will and wont be in the MP. There are still things that will be included that havent even yet been revealed.

Yeah, that was my point as well. Demize is right though when he said this:

Truth in Gaming: If the AI opens the door for the player, they will *****. If the AI waits for the player to open the door, they will *****.

A lot of people were excited to see dragging, but many were also not. Your not going to make everyone happy, it just isnt possible. We have very little information on multiplayer, but that doesnt stop anyone from jumping to their conclusions.

Its a given to your opinion, but thats it. Just like my opinion on BF2 and jets. MANY MANY MANY disagree with me, and thats OK. I still think BF2 isnt that great compared to its other titles. I dont make it a fact though.

The dragging downed team mates I have mixed feelings about...

It's good because it forces team work - covering your buddy whilst he risks his ass to get to the downed guy.

However, if it's implemented in MP, I can see people just running by without giving a damn about you...
