From the Infinity Ward Twitter:

.The latest Modern Warfare 2 patch, to address hacking, will release on Playstation 3 worldwide on March 8th. Xbox 360 and PC release pending

Infinty Ward has been mentioning some time about a patch for Modern Warfare 2, but this is the first time a date has been set for a release of the patch.

We will keep you posted for the updates for Xbox and PC as well.

Late, sure, but it sold like crazy both on consoles and PC. Many people still playing.
