Note the cohesive part. If there's no justification of a woman fighting better with huge boobs and no armor it's not a serious and coherent settings, simple as that.
Its internally consistent. If all men in the story wear clown noses then it is consistent within the story. Even if they give no reason, it is just the way things are in that particular world

The thing is not all women are half-naked and über powerful in DA, only the important ones the player will often see and if all men wear clown noses for no explained or conceivable reasons it's quite strange and not serious. Fun fact, add a clow noses to every men in Dragon Age and you will hear a ton of complaints how it is ridiculous but add half-naked warrior women (who are not barbarian and muscular but could work as a models) then very few will complain.

Last good fantasy game I played is Demon's Souls, take a woman, pick an armor = exact same as a male. You can't recognize a woman from a man in full plate armor, there is NO reasons they shoud look different.

I cannot really exprim myself in english so I will stop here otherwise I will waste too much time talking about the difference in the culture of America, the marketing aspect and public aimed etc, but I'm sure many understand my point.

I know I'm right on that one, I could ask on many different forums and I would receive many arguments to prove you the contrary, and not fantasy forums since I don't know any. Maybe the problem lie in the word serious which don't have the same impact or actual meaning than in french, or maybe it's just a misunderstaning on semantic.

I understand what you are trying to say, but IMHO it is just silly elitism to claim that one made up fantasy world is better than another.
The reason for chainmail bikinis in games are the same as the reason that you cant find ugly people in US tv (outside of the freakshows they label "reality shows"). If you are going to create a fake world you might as well fill it with eyecandy.

Some like their fantasy filled with hot women, other prefer bare-chested men or beasts in loincloth. The latter doesn't make you more intellectual

It is not elitism to say that some fantasy worlds are of better quality than others and yes more intellectual, just like you can say the same about non fantasy movies, books etc. It's like you're saying "Some like to read Carebears and others The count of Monte Cristo. The latter doesn't make you more intellectual". Sorry but it does and it is more intellectual.
I know Dragon Age wasn't made with the idea making a good story in mind but you can't say its story it's better than Baldur's Gate for example. If we stay in games you can take the same example with the ridiculous story of CoD MW2 and Vietcong, one is ridiculous the other one is good.

The reason for chainmail bikinis in games are the same as the reason that you cant find ugly people in US tv (outside of the freakshows they label "reality shows"). If you are going to create a fake world you might as well fill it with eyecandy.
Exactly, marketing goes in the way and hence reduce the overall quality, they are willing to break the rules of their world for more sales. Though sometimes it's true they can back up with a good reason why they did add a Mc Donalds in their fantasy world and the quality doesn't suffer as much as if they couldn't.

As for the specific thing of hot women and bare-chested men, again it all depends of how work the fantasy world in question. 90% of the time you cannot find decent reasons to explain why a hot women with 25kg of muscle are able to perform the same as a hardened warrior with 100 kg of muscle. It reminds me of Lineage 2, click on male, then female. Look at the armor in the two cases, they both provide the exact same performance. Knowing the story of Lineage 2 nothing justify a woman can have the same protection with half the armor. They did it for marketing, hence the quality suffer (in term of story and immersion).

The count of Monte Cristo is a bit harder to read than care bear, thus the higher intellectual requirement.

And I don't agree that the quality declines because of the lack of realism in female Armour.
You would have a point if we were playing something based on Historical Fiction, but as soon as you allow "A Wizard Did It" then all realism becomes irrelevant. Sure a Armour bikini does not offer real life protection, but neither does a talisman of fire resistance or a ring of AC +5.
Singling out the Armour is silly.

In fact having females in the field in heavy Armour at all is silly, they must have been extremely rare and built like a workhorse for that to happen.

Yes, that's why women don't fight in heavy armor, or look like that.

Fantasy world most of the time just add some more rules in top of our pre existing rules, mostly the magic thing. That's why even in fantasy world a person is subject to gravity, need to breath, can bleed, need food and water, is better protected by armor etc unless specified otherwise (example : race X have divine blood thus don't need to feed). Unless it is specifically stated a woman does not need the same armor than a man to gain the same level of protection for whatever reasons you can conceive (preferably a good one) in my eyes it fall into sexism and marketing. I will always react like this except if the fantasy world in question is comical.

that is some great armor right there

Also its funny in mmorpgs when you have some armor pants, and then you loot some cloth or leather panties wich ony cover your **** and your ass and they have more armor than your previous iron pants

I do admit she's hot though (I'm talking about the woman on the left).
