Battlefield 2142 Patch 1.51 is Final!

The Battlefield 2142 Northern Strike booster pack maps and content are now FREE to play for everyone! The v1.51 update for Battlefield 2142 is now ready for you to download from any of the links below.

Fixes in v1.51:
Added extra account security fixes
Added fix for nVidia drivers to solve tinitus visual effect
Hit detection bug fix: Changed so that latency compensation history takes correct stored positions from buffer
Updated as_titan_wake.tweak to allow for two attack choppers instead of the one previously allowed

New Features in v1.51:
Added Operation Blue Pearl by Bjorn Sundell with special thanks to Jason Brice for lightmaps and finishing
Added Yellow Knife, Molokai and Strike at Karkand 2142 maps made by Jason Brice
Added support for the Novint Falcon controller

Did we ever have a confirmation that it would be on Steam eventually?

Also does the game need to be patched to 1.5 before we apply the 1.51 patch or is the 1.51 all I need?

its final but many of the servers haven't moved to 1.51 yet...
this may take a week or so

I think you may need 1.5, i tried a fresh install then running the 1.51 patch and it tells me i already have a newer version and wont install.


CONFIRMED install 1.5 first.

Mine too, just uninstall leaving profiles intact,re-install the game, install 1.50 and then 1.51 and go "toe to toe in Molokai", the latest map. Resolution, textures, lighting looks awesome!

Irony, I installed Origin, EA's Steam alternative. The game installs unpatched, then you have to go to info and it only lists, 1.25, then I choose to install that it actually installs 1.5, but the latest patch is 1.51, do now I have to download that.
