First Strike DLC Release Date for Playstation 3 Announced

The wait is nearly over! Treyarch and Activision are happy to announce that the Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike Content Pack launches worldwide for the PS3 on March 3rd, 2011. Battle it out in four all-new multiplayer maps including Berlin Wall, Discovery, Stadium, and Kowloon. Expand the cooperative fight for survival in Ascension, the latest chapter within the terrifying Zombies saga.

The battle for Democracy expands to new territories in less than one month!

So the release date is March 3rd. It is being assumed that the PC platform will also release that day as well.

If they were releasing it for the PC the same day, why didn't they mention it? The optimist in me is hoping this means they will just release it to us for free, but I doubt it.

Well, this was on the playstation blog and heaven forbid any news actually get posted on the call of duty site. So because of that, I think thats why there is no mention.

That and PC are haters with no reason at all to hate.

I think besides the priority deal with Microsoft, I recall from MW2 DLCs that Activision also has a deal with Steam to let them announce the add-ons before they can mention them for the PC.
