Battlefield 2142 1.51 Beta Patch extended

For all of you Battlefield 2142 fans out there, we're announcing you that the Beta Patch v1.51 released back in December was to end in mid-January. We're pushing forward the date until end of January now, so if you don't have the patch, download it and get in on the action!

Patch notes:

- No DRM on the BF2142.exe file
- Northern Strike free for everyone
- Whole bunch of new maps including Strike at Karkand 2142 and Operation Blue Pearl.
- Account security updates

Hopefully this patch will not be extended much longer and finally get released. It's been a very long time in the making for sure.

I hope after the beta is done and they release the patch BF2142 comes to steam. I have the disk but lost the book with my CD key! I've been itching to play this game.

too bad they waited over 2 yrs, until there's only like 50 servers active (and just a handful of populated large servers) for the open beta.
it would've been perfect like 2 yrs ago but since then most have left the game frustrated with server crashing and other lame problems they never bothered to address.
