TGN Battlefield Update and Vietnam Release Date
A few diffferent members are reporting different news on the forums today.
The first is that the Bad Company 2 patch is being released now. Various members have reported their clients getting updates. To remind everyone, these are the following fixes for PC:
- Acog and Red dot scope now equippable on MK-14 and G3.
- Fixed an issue where the Bullet Tracers wouldn't display
- Fixed an issue where Play Now wouldn't work
- Added Ticket Count for Conquest end of round.
- Added the server info to the objectives screen.
As the servers get updated with the patch, players may experience outages and/or lag. Thanks to stilla-killa and Amaranthuse on this information. It is a large patch of 2.6GB. The patch is reportedly large due to all the maps and expansion information in it.
Minmaster reports the MG36 scope in hard core mode is broke again.
Finally, =MNKY= Frosty has posted that Steam is giving the release date of the Vietnam Expansion as December 18th.

So Map Pack 7 comes out tomorrow and if you pre-order Vietnam on Steam or the EA Store, you can play it on the 18th. Buy it later and you get it on the 21st/22nd.

Just saw on Facebook that they are doing MP7 Wed and Vietnam on the 18th is if you preorder, 21st for everyone else AND PS3 is Dec 22nd
