I do like how they used zipo's for the medals. My old man still has his collection of Vietnam zipos from kason, they used to give every soldier a cartoon of smokes and a nice little zippo when they got off the plane in country.

Some of these awards you can tell are just gimmes though for the sake of bright flashing lights and a flashy badge to stroke the players ego a bit.
