Bethesda Softworks and Obsidian Entertainment have announced that Fallout: New Vegas has seen "record sales at launch."
Record sales being a noteworthy five million units that were shipped to retailers across all three platforms, "representing well over $300 million in retail sales" for the game.
The wording on the press release is such that there's no guarantee that all five million of those units were sold to consumers during that span of time, only that five million units of the game were shipped to retailers around the world.
