Good afternoon all community friends! This week we have a lot of interesting things to cover in our Community Wednesday, so here we go! Check out the awesome Battlefield 2 mod Forgotten Hope 2!
The Battlefield modding community is alive and kicking. Hope is nowhere near lost, repeat, nowhere near lost. Battlefield has seen a lot of GREAT mods made by some very creative people around the world. We all remember the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942, right? Forgotten Hope is one of the modifications that has been on the scene ever since Battlefield 1942, and the team's experience really shows: The graphics and detail level in their new mod Forgotten Hope 2 (based on Battlefield 2) are amazing, and the gameplay is well balanced. Even the weapon sounds are fantastic. This is one of the best examples on how to bring tactic and speed together in a polished gameplay. From version 2.2, with Normandy as a new scenario, Forgotten Hope 2 offers a good mix of urban warfare and the typical large Battlefield experience. One of the best maps is "Pointe du hoc". It is a challenge defending or attacking the large cliffs on both sides. Check out the trailer below.
ESL Battlefield tournaments start soon! <!--more-->
As youmay know, ESL (Electronic Sports League) is running no less three different Nations Cup Tournaments in Battlefield right now:
Battlefield 2: 5v5
Battlefield: Bad Company 2: 5v5
Battlefield: Bad Company 2: 6v6
These competitions usually attract a lot of attention, being hosted by one of the biggest leagues in the world. If you want to check out the latest results and fixtures, hit the jumps to read up on a lot of Nations Cup stats and news. Also, Rush Zone tend to livestream the matches so tune in to their site and get in on the action!

Autumn Squad Rush Cup -- Your chance to play with zh1nt0!
Alright, ladies and gentlemen! The team over at www.consoles.net are launching a Playstation 3 Bad Company 2 "Special Autumn Cup" and an Xbox 360 Bad Company 2 "Special Autumn Cup"! It's a 4v4 Cup in Squad Rush that will put some heavy emphasis on team play, so get your kits ready and sign up for this. The cup starts on the 25th of October. If anyone needs a team member, I'm game, and just a tweet away! And remember to check back next Wednesday for more happenings in the Battlefield community.
