This is it! I am going to Tokyo Game Show to showcase Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam for the first time -- and to spend some quality time with the Japanese Battlefield Community.





As you may already know, Vietnam is an expansion pack to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 with 4 brand new maps built in Frostbite, as well as Vietnam specific weapons, vehicles, persistence, unlocks, and achievements/trophies.

Go ahead and plan on $15. MW2 set that DLC map-pack price point and made an obscene amount of money. I don't expect too many publishers to leave that kind of cash on the table anymore.

Boycotting wont do anything. All it will do is make them see: "oh, well, the PC community has stopped supporting us, so lets give more support to the consoles because they are still throwing money at us at the same rate." but at the same time, supporting them isnt going to change things either. Damned if we do damned if we dont really.

You guys have been getting free content on a daily basis for months. Sure its not a completely new map but its a new way to play a previous map. Which in a way is new and I have no problem with it. Most games don't get all of this without costing a bit of money. Every last one of you that say your boycotting will still go out and purchase it. Remember the MW2 Boycott on steam? Yeah half the people on the boycott were seen listen in a MW2 game.

its not "getting"
its unlocking.... they just unlock on the servers something you had bought and installed and is on your game cd already.... you payed for it but they just let you use it some time after the game got released.... its a gimmick so it looks like they are actually giving you things.......

The first DLC alone sold in many million copies for consoles, and not that few for PC either iirc
